“Great little place! Loved seeing a couple black bears go by the cabin. Very secluded and private, close to everything.”

“This is truly a gem near DuPont National Forest. The property location is as close as you would expect - 10 minutes drive to all the waterfalls and scenic hikes as well as stores nearby. My family stayed for 3 days and we had so much fun at the cabin. It has pretty much everything and the owner Susan and Gerald were very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The hot tub was a huge plus for the kids. We would definitely visit again. ”

“This was our second stay at the cabin. It was as wonderful as we remembered it. Perfect location between Brevard and Hendersonville, comfortable and clean accommodations, and the porch is a great spot for waiting out an afternoon storm or counting fireflies in the evening. We plan to return again next summer. ”

“The house was wonderful for our trip with my family and my sister's family. We loved how it was a mix of modern and cabin. The kids loved how there were a ton of stuffed bears. The house was very well stocked with kindling for the fire pit and a fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed.”

“The house was very clean when we arrived. It was nice to have a full kitchen, all the basics were provided. The location was easy to get back into Asheville with a short drive, and the views off the back porch are worth every penny paid to rent this cabin. ”

“Loved how cozy the cabin was. We used the kitchen a little bit and spent a little time in downtown Hendersonville. No issues came up during our stay and everything went very smoothly. We would stay again!”

“We were very pleased and happy with the home. There were kyacks and a canoe that we used almost everyday. The grandchildren swam and played in the lake. The road up to the home was 1.9 miles and our daughter ran on it everyday for a total of four miles a day. Quite the workout! The owner supplied plenty of towels, tissues, paper towels dish soap and dishwasher detergent. There also was tide available if you didn’t bring your own. “This was a great weekend get a way! It's just as pictured only more beautiful in person. A lot of love and work went into building this Whimsical Place! We loved it! It's quiet, very clean, comfortable and stocked with everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped, just bring the groceries! The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with room to spare. If you're looking to take a nap, I highly recommend the chairs on the front porch!! The owner is very nice and friendly. If you have any……

“This place was great! We stayed for 4 nights over July 4th and it did not disappoint. The running creek was awesome, the sounds of the creek are beyond amazing. Had a hiccup or so but the property manager/owner answered quickly and handed it properly, I would highly recommend, even the dogs had fun with the fenced in yard and we even had a bear come by a couple of days. I will happily book again in the future. ”
