“More than I ever would have expected. Beautiful setting. Lovely cottage with all the amenities. Walk right out the front door into beautiful wooded areas and nearby stream and waterfall. Folks were friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. I hope to return someday soon. ”

“My wife and I stayed at this property for a thanksgiving getaway. It is conveniently located close to Redding and Lassen National Park (unfortunately the park was mostly closed due to snow when we were there). The living space is comfortable with large windows letting in light and giving a view of the trees. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils, spices, etc. the property owner/manager was very responsive and communicative. Thanks!”

“From the moment you pull up to the Hobbit Hole you begin to notice all of the care and detail that make this space so magical. The hosts are on the premise and are so kind and make you feel so welcome, so at home. Opening the door to your room is like opening the door to a new world. You genuinely feel like you have stepped foot into a Tolkien novel. The space was so warm and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and delicious coffee! “The property was gorgeous and the view from the deck was breathtaking. Living near a major city with all the light pollution that comes with it, I don't get to see the stars much. I loved laying out on the deck at night, looking at the shooting stars and the Milky Way. The beds were comfortable and the rain shower was a great way to wake up. The only complaint is the book full of rules that wasn't mentioned in the listing. There were a lot of rules. ”
