“I don’t complain about the sound in the night(frog, birds). I am ok for that. House service people make me uncomfortable. ”

“I booked for the waterfront view. It did not disappoint! Out of town, quiet, amazing view. Had everything we needed. Great communication with owner. Also, owner had some great suggestions for shopping and restaurants. ”

“This spot was awesome! The neighborhood didn’t have a great reputation with the locals but we honestly had no problems at all staying on this part of the island. The hosts were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed and even offered lots of really great recommendations for things to do while we were there. There isn’t a lot in the way of shops nearby, but they do have the essentials– a quick mart, gas, and even a pizza place. Very quiet and the stars at night are unmatched. The yurt……

“The view and sound of the ocean made me feel like I was on a ship; it is so lovely! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet stay away from it all. The house was clean, had ample cooking supplies, and stayed cool from the cross-breezes and fans througout. ”

“Everything about our stay was wonderful. The hosts Carl and Deb were easy to communicate with and responsive to questions. We loved how secluded we were and the private water pond is way bigger than the pictures show. This was a really nice feature every morning and every evening. The house is equipped with all you need. Coolers, beach stuff, fully stocked kitchen. Beds and linens super comfy and comes with a whole drawer of sun tan lotion! We will be return guests for sure!”

“The house has a great layout that was comfortable for 6. The views are wonderful, especially the view of the ocean from the deck. It was a very short walk to a quiet little beach which we liked much better than the big-named beaches. The place was easy to keep clean with an outside shower for rinsing off. It’s a bait of a drive for groceries or restaurants, so plan ahead. But the neighborhood is really pretty and this house is beautiful. All around we had a fabulous week. ”

“Loved our stay here. It was the perfect spot a little off the beaten path that was a great home base for our adventures on the big island. Close enough to everything you need and far enough from the hoardes of tourists, with lots of little shops and spots to check out nearby. As for the space itself, it's super cozy and has an incredible ocean view from the screened in patio. Waking up to that view was one of the best parts of our trip. Would 100% stay here again.”
