“The staff were friendly and helpful, offering advice on places to eat and local transport & taxis. Our room was spotless & had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. It was lovely and quiet at night & breakfast in the coffee bar was fresh and delicious. It’s a great base for visiting local attractions.”

“We really enjoyed our overnight stay at West Lodge. We had a tranquil garden room so there was no outside noise at all. We also enjoyed being one of two couples in the dining room. Upon ringing the bell the owner arrived promptly and took our orders for cooked breakfast. It soon arrived and was of excellent quality. We will definitely book again if we are in the locality.”

“Wonderful hostess who kept me informed throughout and went the extra mile to make my stay great. House is wonderful and very peaceful. Bedroom was large with very comfy bed and the bathroom was awesome. Underfoot heating so showering was excellent. Once the light went out you couldn’t see you hand in front of your face. Perfect nights sleep on both nights and full use of kitchen when required. A real gem. ”

“Loved staying at Furtho Manor Farm, a warm welcome and room comfortable. All essentials provided even use of the fridge in the dining room. Had a lovely walk around the grounds, stunning area great buildings. Lots of wildlife. Very central location, close to the entertainment complex and Woburn. Yummy breakfast to start the day. “I was genuinely surprised to find a hotel this good for the price. The place was very clean, the staff were both professional and friendly, and breakfast was included, I really can't complain. Excellent value for money, and I will definitely be returning.”

“Julie and Ayman are great hosts. You do feel like you're a guest in their home. We had several fun conversations with them, and a couple of times found myself feeling like I was talking to an extended family member (Ayman and his strong feelings about diesel and electric cars comes to mind, as well as Julie and her careful breakfast service). Overall it was the personal experience we were hoping for as visiting Americans. Only other thoughts are: there is no tennis court on site. That might be……

“The location sits beside the river Ouse. Beautiful location. Restaurants, shops, mall, all nearby. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping was immaculate and checked in with me daily to see if I needed anything. The restaurant was fabulous, outside seating and reasonably priced. I made this home for two weeks while I visited from Seattle. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed and I will definitely return here when I come back again. Highly recommended!”
