“The room and view facilities were fantastic. The bar and restaurant downstairs were busy, but the accommodation upstairs was quiet. The Polish lad (I think) who works there was really friendly, helpful, and quirky. The only two slight issues were that the parking was a bit of a trip but not a deal breaker (£10 per p/night) and that there was a group staying in the room next door who must have been chain-smoking as it stank out the corridor, etc. Other than that, the stay was top class and I will……

“Booked at short notice as we needed somewhere to stay in Banbury whilst we helped our daughter move. Sian was very helpful as we were unsure when we would be able to check in and offered us extra arrangements if we arrived later in the day. A warm welcome, a lovely room and breakfast was superb. Sian also gave us some pieces of her lovely flapjack to take with us when we returned to Leamington Spa to continue unpacking for the house etc. We are spoilt by living in a quiet cul-de-sac and I……

“The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost……

“Despite all the information you have about the location accommodation, I found it very difficult to locate. However when I finally arrived, the host was very welcoming and the accommodation was very warm. The only thing I noticed was that there were invoices from probaly a previous occupant in one of the bedroom drawers and some earpods left in the lounge. Maybe their cleaner needs to be more vigilant.”

“The property is not as described. It’s a room in a house with shared facilities throughout. Amenities are few with no basics in the room such as a radio or TV. The property listing said ‘pillow menu’. Hmm. The room I had looked nothing like the photos and upon arrival, I checked out the room, and bathroom, and decided to leave. I booked a room elsewhere instead and did not complete my stay. The 10 x emails, 4 x text messages and 1 x phone call all regarding the booking is excessive and……

“Loved staying at Furtho Manor Farm, a warm welcome and room comfortable. All essentials provided even use of the fridge in the dining room. Had a lovely walk around the grounds, stunning area great buildings. Lots of wildlife. Very central location, close to the entertainment complex and Woburn. Yummy breakfast to start the day. Very happy and would return again in the future. Thank you 😊”

“Beautiful little row of cottages with bedroom upstairs which was a nice separation of sleeping and living area. Well stocked kitchen. Very clean and all furnishings new and comfortable. Quiet location, walking distance to a very cute old inn. ”

“Property is within a private road, with very limited access to visitors. There are a couple of visitors' parking spaces, but those were occupied when I arrived, so I had to park in the nearby public car park. This was free after 6pm, but I had to leave before 9am the next morning to avoid being charged for parking. Other than that, my stay was fine - room was clean and comfortable, and shared bathroom was not an issue, as I think I was the only guest that night.”
