“House was lovely and in a great location. Was very spacious and well equipped apart from lack of recycling bags and washing up equipment. Was hard to get hold of the owner and get check in instructions. I had to chase a few times and get vrbo to chase them. On the morning of check in I was advised to transfer a security deposit of a few hundred pounds to get the check in details. It was all fine but I was nervous we wouldn't get the details in time. I also had to chase to get the amount……

“Cooking utensils etc not clean, insufficient towels, doors not shutting, toilet door didn’t lock ( latch on back to front!) no bedside lights, no fire extinguisher ( this is a legal requirement), very tight to get in and park, poor quality of finish etc. It was nicely quiet”

“We had a good stay at this property for the Christmas holiday. Easy check in, with free parking. Communication with the host was good, was able to accommodate our extra needs. We had some difficulty unlocking the bedroom door after locking ourselves in. Had some difficulty with the cooker and oven but communication with the host had everything resolved and got our Christmas dinner cooking perfectly. Property could’ve been a bit cleaner in areas but overall a good stay and everyone enjoyed this……
