“Great place to crash if you're visiting the river, 10 minutes from Oregon Creek Park, which is an awesome spot to hit with kids. Pretty sparse surroundings and it's deep in the woods, so it's remote and private. “The little log cabin was perfect for me and my teen daughter. It felt private, the surroundings were beautiful. It was in a perfect location to explore the Yuba and Nevada City. The kitchen was basic but it had everything we needed. ”

The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. “Staying at Tara was an amazing experience. Everything was exactly what we were looking for to get away for the weekend! The cabin was spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals including spices and condiments (except butter), the couch was so comfortable, there were extra blankets, towels, toilet paper and even a first aid kit.
