“Spacious home with all the desirable vacation amenities. The house was large enough for a gathering of at least 10 people if not more. There are only two bathrooms despite having 5 bedrooms, so keep that in mind. The property seemed to be designed with a “man cave” focus, minus a pool table; large TVs in every room with a grand outdoor kitchen. We could not wait until sunrise to see the beautiful views on top of the mountain. I would caution that a good vehicle is needed to get up to the house……

“This place has everything you need! As I enjoyed the amenities, I found just what I wanted, the right kind of tea, the oils I prefer, the cappuccino machine, good speakers for music, , the golf cart with a rain cover so we could enjoy the gorgeous outdoor when it sprinkled.And then my kids didn’t leave that basketball court and they were happy to find basketballs there/c theirs popped. The kids played ping pong and my oldest loved working out and occupying the poolhouse. Great spot and super……

“We were only here for one night and the weather was too chilly to take a dip in the pool. Parking was close to the guest house/pool. Nicely decorated but it’s small. Fortunately lots of outdoor space! Bed was very comfortable. Nice towels and many toiletries provided. Perfect location if you are looking to tour the Redwoods. Two things that kept me from giving 5 star rating were: there was old coffee(how old?) in the pot and the refrigerator is located outside of the unit and it wasn’t clean.”

“This house was perfectly located to traverse the redwoods along Northern California coast. Used it to tour Avenue of Giants while heading out to the ocean, too. House was very comfortable and well equipped for our family. Had a lot of local tourism literature to help guide our trip. Great to come back to in evening after full day of outdoor adventures. ”

“Had a great time with the family. Perfect house to play board games, cook family meals, and host a Murder Mystery Dinner party. Shelter cove was a perfect quaint beach town to relax and enjoy the coast line, with many wonderful hikes near buy. The Host were wonderful to work with and the house was perfectly stocked with all the essentials. would highly recommend staying in this beautiful house.”

“This home is a gem in Southern Humboldt. Just steps from the historic Benbow golf course. My kids loved the pool, it’s big and deep. Easy access right off Hwy 101, near the town of Garberville with good grocery stores. Close to Redwood groves and swimming holes on the Eel River. Comfortable beds and amazing views.”

“Wow—this place is a gem! First off, forget those cookie-cutter rentals with their catalog furniture; this home is filled with gorgeous art and unique touches that tell a story. The deck is a showstopper with incredible views, and the wood stove kept us cozy during the evening chill.
