“Proximity to the wedding made this place a good choice. We would stay here again, but would like the bathroom door to be rehung—when it’s open it blocks access to the bathroom sink. ”

“I confirmed my booking, paid and then got a call from the owner several hours later telling me they had us double booked. He then told me I needed to cancel the booking and when I tried, it said I couldn’t cancel without forfeiting the cost. I have now been charged and still don’t have a resolution. My guess is that they use VRBO to advertise, but when they have a standard booking option, they cancel the VRBO bookings to make more $. These people are not honest. Now I get to work with VRBO to……

“No vacancy. I had a reservation. When I tried to register, door locked. Note saying call this long distance no.. It's 90 outside temp. No call back. I see another note pasted to another window to call this other no. for registration. Manager finally showed up. Surly. I was given a room where a ladder was in front of my window and all parking spaces taken by construction crew. I asked for another room - again he was surly. No more rooms, he said. No one else complained. he said. ……

“I wait half an hour for the Check-in, because the owner was not at the front desk. In the Morning, I want to go in the shower, I can’t use it, because there was not a button to change it from the crane to the shower head. At next, I call the front desk. There was only the mother from the owner at the phone. She told, she don’t know, how she can help me, she don’t know, when he come and I should call again in a few hours. After 2 hours, i leaved the Hostel and Nobody was at the front desk……

“This is a real sanctuary, hidden I. The Redwood hills. Perfect spot to disconnect, relax and enjoy nature. Their sauna is awesome, and so is the temple, where I meditated a few times. Sad to know the property is for sale… go visit while you can!!”
