“The house size was great- we enjoyed the location. House has a few issues that if fixed would make the space awesome. We had 10 people staying here with plenty of room for everyone. House has a few issues like leaking shower and wonky kitchen floor that were a tiny bit concerning. Host was very nice. House could use a few more things for guests to use such as kitchen pots and pans. Overall we enjoyed our stay.”

“The property was exactly what we needed. Plenty of room, beautiful view on the water, and the home was just as beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and all the beds had the most comfortable bedding. We spent our mornings playing mahjong on the screen in porch while drinking coffee and looking at the water. During the day we went shopping in Saint Francisville and had dinner at the Myrtles. We will definitely be going back. The town of New Roads was so cute. It was raining……

“This would have been a great stay but the management did not say that there was a lot of construction being done on the hotel. My wife and I walked to our room to find a bunch of workers in most of the rooms. This was very unsettling because they were in every room but ours and it was a mess. Once we entered our room it didn’t get any better, it was not clean at all and the shower did not drain. The microwave was there but not close to a plug. “Louisiana natives, our group returned to our home state to meet up for the holidays. This property represented all our LA favorites: clean and comfortable, a beautiful natural setting, and easy access to good food and fun. “We had an amazing time at Claire and Kelly’s place. Plenty of room for 8 people and at least 4 more. House was nice and pier was great. My son brought his boat and stayed from Sunday-Sunday. Pretty much had the river to ourselves other than a few other boats.”
