“We had such a lovely stay at the Black Pines A-Frame! The house itself is beautiful—thoughtfully designed and full of charm. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare home-cooked meals, which made staying in feel extra cozy and enjoyable.It happened to rain the entire weekend, so we spent most of our time indoors, and the fireplace truly saved the day. It kept the space warm and inviting, and made our rainy retreat feel peaceful and relaxing.Highly recommend……

“Honestly I don't have much to say because the listing is incredibly accurate and true to the experience at the cabin, and the hosts were readily available for questions and help. Even with being snowed and iced in for a few days we were able to enjoy the cabin thoroughly. Perfect escape for a few days to relax, do some bird watching and enjoy the hot tub. “This property is incredible. The cabin is so unique! It’s like a giant treasure chest. We were a group of 5 adults and 6 kids. “We visit this area every year and have stayed in many places. Library Lodge was as quaint and comfortable as they come. Many comforts & amenities are provided for. Beautiful kitchen and living space. Comfortable beds and showers. A reminder as I missed it when booking, but there are no traditional TVs here but a modern projector that you can stream from in the living room only. “This cottage is gorgeously renovated,fully equipped, and meticulously maintained--sitting above the Hudson River with spectacular unobstructed views. A bald eagle perched itself on a branch directly in front of us when we arrived.We saw countless otherbirds of prey and other birds during our visit. We will return.”

“The heat was unbearable. The description did not indicate that there were no AC units at least in the bedrooms. We ended up leaving on Saturday afternoon because we could not spend a 2nd night not being able to sleep because of the high temperature.”
