We really appreciated the noise cancelling machine that was provided. One suggestion for improvement would be to make it explicit to guests that the backyard (incl. grill & hot tub) are shared between the upstairs and downstairs units. As guests in the upstairs unit, it felt awkward to hang out in the backyard,……

We saw the hosts and actually had a chance to speak with them - a lovely extremely friendly couple. And we were so grateful that we did because they had the best recommendation on the restaurant which was just perfect. As I said this place has a soul and character. We felt like home.”

Very clean, pool table, TV complete with YouTube, Netflix, Prime and a bunch more I am did not useModern appliances, bathroom & shower were exceptional.Lots of little touches done right.I am very sensitive to noise at night, forgot my earplugs and had no problem sleeping. There was the occasional train which in the MBR was not a problem. For sensitive sleepers, might be a problem in the other bedroom.We did not eat there (no good opportunity),but there……

“The room was cold and very uncomfortable upon arrival. Communication was difficult and unsatisfactory. Two hours later it was still cold. The room was not very clean. It needed vacuuming. There was no info left by the owner at all. After the owner told us to leave if we weren't happy, we found another place to stay.
