“Upon arrival the owner was on hand to help us with checking in and showed us straight to our lodge. The facilities are of the highest quality and you feel right at home straight away. Our 3 year old daughter loved all the toys in the garden especially the big trampoline. There is a grocery shop 4 minute drive away so whilst my wife and daughter enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the sounds of farmyard animals I was able to run off and pick up dinner. “The property overall all was fantastic but sadly on our last night I had my baby in the shower and the water temperature went from Luke warm to scolding hot and scolded my 11 month old baby. Luckily he didn’t have physical burns but he cried in pain as soon as the water touched his skin. I can only imagine there was some sort of fault with the thermostat in the shower. I reported this to reception but didn’t hear any more after the event. ”
