“In the middle of night there was false fire alarm goes on whole night and every body have to evacuate from hotel room and we are staying in room 2209 all the way down from 22 floor all the way use fire exit door to lobby and wait for more than an hour until we back to our room but fire alarm still going on whole night. “Haven’t stayed at the star in years, was a nice hotel, and we got an upgrade to a suite as it was my partners b’day! Room was spacious and clean, quite nicely/modernly designed considering the last visit was 20 years ago. Had a delicious meal at Sokyo and finished the night with some roulette and music. “I booked a one-bedroom suite, but the first room they gave me was on the lower floor. The view was blocked by the opposite hotel. We needed to close the curtains all the time. Fortunately, they let us move to another room for the other two days. This room faced another direction and on a higher floor. It was much better. There is a bus 440 heading to Bondi junction in front of the hotel. Within 10 mins walk, you can get to L2&3 to The Rocks and trains to Central Station. ”

“On our first night, due to booking limitations, we were given a room on the second floor above the parking lot. Noisy and stuffy without the view that I was looking forward to. The next booking for another 5 days, I was able to get another room on the 17th. Thanks to Jackson I got an upgrade. The location was excellent. The staff is truly great. ”
