“This house was great for my husband and myself. The location was excellent. The house was very clean and had many updated items. I really appreciated the gas stove and a frying pan that you could actually use for cooking. I would highly recommend this house to people staying in the Salem area although it is only an hour from Portland. So it might be an option for that as well. We found the original pancake house. It had great food, enough to take a plat home. Also found don fraylon creamery that……

“Cozy, quaint cottage in a great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants in Silverton. Tastefully decorated and nicely updated kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable! A nice, quiet neighborhood and peaceful back deck overlooking the creek.”

“What a lovely relaxing little place to spend a week. We were in town so one of our kids & a friend could attend a basketball camp. This cottage had everything we needed (minus wash cloths but we got a couple at wal mart). Our youngest child claimed the loft area as her own & enjoyed sleeping up there. The other beds were very comfy. The shower was the best. The neighborhood is a mix of old & new homes and enormous beautiful oak trees. Salem has a large unhoused population and some little camps……

The booking process was smooth and straightforward, making it easy to plan our getaway without any hassles. “Cute cottage. Very nicely renovated space. BUT anyone with any mobility challenges or any nervousness about stairs should probably not choose this spot. The stairs to the bedroom are quite steep and a bit unusual. Bedroom and bath are on separate floors and the bedroom had a steeply sloped ceiling. Very picturesque, cozy, well furnished, etc but may not work for everyone.”
