“What a great place! Everything was as it should be and what I expected. We had an awesome time just relaxing with family. This is a cool spot and exactly what I wanted for a quick getaway with no distractions. We had fun seeing the deer, turkeys and the hummingbirds. ”

“Our stay at Bear Mountain was truly peaceful and refreshing. The friendly animals, especially the sweet and loving beagle, made us feel right at home. We enjoyed the incredible view of the mountains each day, which added to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The only drawback was the poor internet and cell reception, but in a way, it helped us disconnect and fully enjoy the quiet countryside.”

“The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. As other reviewers have mentioned, the cabins were closer together than I expected, but they’ve done a great job at still making it seem very private. The river was shallow, so the pups really enjoyed walking in it. Jerry was always very responsive, as was Chris who we met when we arrived. Overall a great stay!”

“Very nice place, we enjoyed it! I was a little worried because I could not find the thermometer, but AC was running good so I didn’t need to adjust anything. We had a great time, though, and it is a great place to stay!”

“As promised, a real sanctuary. A small and hidden gem attached to a farmhouse, everything was spotless and clean like home. The farm grounds are beautiful, with a lovely view of the Peaks of Otter. This place is great for a couple or a solo traveller, a spot to unwind and unplug. It forced a change of pace and filled the day with activity — we went on three hikes including the challenging Sharp Top mountain, visited an apple orchard (and bought a peach sapling) and had excellent Thai and Indian……
