“Just wow! This place was perfect. Great location just outside of Gettysburg, surrounded by beautiful Orchards, and only minutes away from the historic Cashtown Inn. The home was cozy and had all the amenities we needed, and then some. I actually found myself wishing we had more time to spend at the house. We loved sitting on the patio and looking at the pond. We planned to use the fire pit, but unfortunately, the weather was just too windy while we were there. If I find myself coming back to……

“We came to visit Gettysburg and Amish Country and were excited to learn that while we had spent much time learning about the Civil War, Lee had actually come to visit the very house we stayed at and is detailed in a book located at the property called “A River to Cross”. Before we left we took a picture with our pup on “Lee’s rock” where he rested while the horses drank from a spring nearby and his troops had tea and recharged at the property.
