“We stayed at the property in the first week of November which was a little cool so we were not able to use the pool but the property is so beautiful and peaceful. We rented the honeymoon retreat to celebrate our engagement and it didn’t disappoint. Very rustic yet very cozy and comfortable. We were also happy to be able to enjoy a private hot tub by the pond. “There was a calm, genteel feel to the hotel and grounds, a sense of grandeur past. The staff were helpful and polite. The grounds were lovely and we enjoyed having a leisurely breakfast in the gardens. It would have been good to have some help taking heavy bags up the stone stairs as there did not seem to be a lift/elevator.”

“It would be better if the breakfast is included with the price. The front desk is closed at 11 pm, so arriving late causes problems.”

We arrived late and therefore we had dinner at their restaurant as well. The young lady serving us is very attentive and helpful. She tried her very best to explain us the menu in English. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo with her but I will always remember her smile and sincerity.”
