“Great hotel in Monte Gordo, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful town with amazing beach and very close to the Spanish border. Staff were grand, we had a very good buffet breakfast, main items to choose from. Very close to beach and shops. If needed there is a 2 1/2 mile walk to the border town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio along a straight road but the beach walk is glorious although twice the distance. Beach is just fantastic. Was a small fishing village before tourism and no natural……

“I liked that the staff spoke English Spanish and Portuguese. We chose this property because we wanted to use the Spa. This feature is in their name. The Spa was closed during the time we were at the hotel. Very disappointing. :-(”

“The property was lovely. Soon as get through the gates you are greeted by a path with a beautiful arch, surrounded by nature. As you go towards the accommodation you see gorgeous lemons and oranges bearing fruit. Me and my partner was lucky enough to try there freshly squeezed juice at breakfast, smooth and delicious. Breakfast had good variety, vegan and vegetarian options. 9/10”
