“Our fist time experience with a castle hotel is pleasant. We arrived at a rainy day and thus a bit of difficulties in lifting our heavy luggage to the reception - you have to walk a few wet and muddy stone steps from the parking place. Despite that, everything else of our accommodation is nice. The heating is also well functioned considering most other hotels or agriturismo do not offer heating in late April. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast offers a lot of choices. Besides we found……

“The room is big and the city is lovely. but it's really really troublesome to park the car due to the hotel is located in ZTL zone. You have to park your car somewhere outside of the old town, and walk to the hotel to figure out how to park, then get a green card from the reception to display it on your windshield to avoid being fined by the police when drive in to unload the luggage, then drive out of the old town to find a parking space, then walk back to the hotel (6-8 mins walk). “very big room. antique equipment. fairly good breakfast. the swimming pool is small, but the view is very nice. we didn't have dinner in the restaurant, but it smells really nice. recommend this hotel as long as you drive.”

“Excellent stay at Dievole! Great amenities, clean property, friendly staff and great wine. Food was good but not amazing. There are two paths to get to the property. If you’re coming from Florence or Siena, make sure to come into the property from the highway with only 1km of pleasant unpaved road instead of driving 5km of a crazy unpaved pathway like I did. ”
