“This property is stellar, the views are incredible, and there is plenty of space. A few things need work - the stairs are creaky and a bit loose, the bug screens on windows need to be replaced, the chairs outside need some fixing and a few more supplies (coffee cups, kitchen towels) could be more abundant. That being said the property is worth it for the view alone. One thing to note - it is very steep in the area so those with mobility issues may struggle a bit. We enjoyed it and thought it was……

“This is the most charming boutique hotel, in one of the most beautiful towns in all of Italy. It sits right near the top of the hill, and overlooks the Tuscan Hills. The sunset view is truly breathtaking. The rooms are so clean, the window views of the valley are stunning, and their restaurant is quite delicious!! I’m a widow and this was my first vacation alone, in thirty-five years. They staff at La Locanda were gracious, very helpful, and tried their best to ensure everything was going well……

“The best part about Montepulciano was Roberto, the owner and his wife of the hotel. He welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at home. His energy is contagious. He gave us great recommendations for dinner and things to do. We had a lovely stay and were sad to leave. Absolutely recommend this hotel. It is convenient with multiple access to exit and enter. It’s close to the piazza, shopping and food. ”
