“very big room. antique equipment. fairly good breakfast. the swimming pool is small, but the view is very nice. we didn't have dinner in the restaurant, but it smells really nice. recommend this hotel as long as you drive.”

“The room is big and the city is lovely. but it's really really troublesome to park the car due to the hotel is located in ZTL zone. You have to park your car somewhere outside of the old town, and walk to the hotel to figure out how to park, then get a green card from the reception to display it on your windshield to avoid being fined by the police when drive in to unload the luggage, then drive out of the old town to find a parking space, then walk back to the hotel (6-8 mins walk). “This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.”

“Excellent stay at Dievole! Great amenities, clean property, friendly staff and great wine. Food was good but not amazing. There are two paths to get to the property. If you’re coming from Florence or Siena, make sure to come into the property from the highway with only 1km of pleasant unpaved road instead of driving 5km of a crazy unpaved pathway like I did. ”

“Location wise, it is right in the center of Siena and is close to all the tourist attraction points. It is also the only five star hotel within the walls of Siena. The hotel is well equipped, and since we booked the best suite in the hotel, the view from it is spectacular. “Peaceful, Relaxing Stay in Tuscany We had a great experience here. The setting is quiet and secluded—felt like a true escape from everyday life. The golf was excellent, the food was consistently good, and the service was friendly and professional. It is remote, which adds to the charm, but just a heads-up: if you need anything like Advil or small essentials, the nearest town is about 20 minutes away on a dirt road. Overall, everything was well done. We’d absolutely come back.”
