“My friend and I had an amazing trip while staying at the little pirate house. Its location was close enough to get to everything but off the path enough for privacy and quiet at night. We loved Monterosso and all of Cinque Terre and especially enjoyed learning how the history of the dates related to the property. Definitely a bit of a climb especially with our luggage but we had some help from some of the friendly locals so we made it! Would definitely visit again. The only problem was our……

“This place is small but well engineered to maximize use of space. If you need a place to relax while in your room this is not the place. Also we are avg size and it was tight for us. The only place to sit is in or on the bed. The bed frame is not designed for this but with pillows we made it work. The windows when closed completely silence the street noise. We wanted air conditioning one night but could not get it to work. The electricity only works while you are inside the room with the special……

“Great location. Very poor communication with the property manager.We did not get the code to the lockbox , not even at check in at 3pm.Had to call several times the office of Terre marine. The lady did not have the code and stated that her colleague who does is busy.It took us almost an hour to get the code.The apartment is several steep steps up a very long staircase. The steps are high and uneven.Be aware if mobility is an issue.For us it was a good exercise. Overall we had a great stay.The……

“Our host couldn’t be sweeter. Very helpful and accommodating. The house was perfectly located in a quiet area close to the beach. It was well appointed with washer (and detergent) and ability to split beds for making 2 for our children. There was AC throughout, but loved the windows open and the fresh air at night. Thank you!”
