“This is a beautiful former monastery high up above Monterosso. You need to contact the hotel in advance to make a shuttle reservation and they will pick you up near the train station. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. Most of the other guests were hikers from the trail between towns. We sat outside at sunset with a glass of wine, admiring the beautiful view. While there’s no Wi-Fi or AC in the rooms in the main building, it was very comfortable, clean and quiet. There were large……

“We booked this very last minute because we decided at the last minute to visit Cinque Terre so I didn’t read too much about what it looked like. 1. The rooms are set away from the reception area and you have to go down gravel steps. I’m pretty young and ok with it, but my 66-year-old mom struggled. So be prepared for that. “An adorable property with all the amenities one could need for a stay in Monterosso. The apartment was very clean which is important to me, and the hosts were wonderful with communication and support. It was fun to stay in a place that allowed us to feel a part of the culture while in Cinque Terre. We loved how well stocked the kitchen was. It would be perfect if you were cooking in which we didn't do. Not a complaint but just for other travelers' information... you can hear a lot of what goes……
