“The place is perfectly located, beautiful mountains view with an incredible sunset watching point. It has a great proximity to Santa Elena, Monteverde and all attractions around. Communication with the host is very smooth. Yaloco Chalet is semi-glamping accomodation though (tent door in the main bedroom), it is a bit challenging to rest when you have a light sleep - quite noisy with wind and/ or rain. Other than that it was a nice 2-nights' stay.”

“This house was amazing! It was right in the jungle and absolutely beautiful. Really enjoyed the nature around the home especially in the early morning when all the birds and monkeys were waking up. The home is very close to La fortuna city center and all the hot springs. I would definitely here again. ”

“It was nice. Great remote location about 20 minutes from ladortuna”

“We had a wonderful stay, family of 5. We enjoyed the wellness walk and all of the beautiful landscaping and foliage that attracts the nature that surrounds you. Make sure you get to the 10 spot to enjoy the ancient tree. We loved having coffee on the deck around the master upstairs, watching birds of every color and type, we even saw toucan and green parrots in the tree. Has binoculars available also. Had everything we needed including bottled jugs of water when first getting to the property.……

“My husband and teenage son and myself had the most enjoyable time. We were greeted with a warm Pure Vida welcome and given recommendations. We had a wonderful time and loved the property. We would recommend to anyone not wanting to stay at a big resort. Total local vibe and immersed in the culture. Gracious and Pure Vida!”

“This house is just as advertised. Beautiful, clean, and quiet. We stayed with a group of 9 and loved it. We saw a sloth in the tree right outside the house. In the 16 days we spent in Costa Rica this was the best view we got of one! Watched it for an hour. La Fortuna waterfall was amazing as well as the hot springs. You will love this house.”

“Nice home with an excellent view of the volcano. Only a couple minutes to town, but the feel of seclusion. Met the owner while checking in and he shared any and all information you may need about the home. ”

“What an incredible home with Beautiful decor, incredible comfort and stunning views. Oscar is absolutely fantastic, always responsive and truly outstanding and extremely accommodating. This villa has everything! And the beds are super comfortable. The views are incredible and the home is close to town but you do need a car. We loved our stay here and would totally come back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!! ”

“This house nestled as close as possible to the Monteverde Cloud Forest is nothing short of a wildlife paradise. In the morning, you can hear the calls of toucans, motmots, and howler monkeys. At least six species of hummingbirds visited our feeders every day, and coatis and agoutis were a common sight. The scenic view of the trees and ocean from the second floor deck was amazing. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants an authentic Costa Rican experience.”

“What a unique and magical place! The bubble is really beautiful. Elegantly decorated, luxurious bedding, well equipped kitchen. And the view. Wow the view. Can’t be beat. The hot tub was a fun spot to sit with a drink and view that view from! Easy drive to town for dinner (great recommendations from Tony and Mary) and 5 minutes from our cloud forest adventure tours. Everything about this rental was perfect! Thanks for sharing this slice of paradise with us! ”

“Our stay at Casa Colibri was absolutely wonderful with plenty of room for our family to stretch out and a beautiful pool and gorgeous property. Our hosts were very accommodating. Everything was super clean and we had a wonderful experience taking small adventures and coming back to relax at this beautiful home. We especially loved the pool and terrace where we sat and played games each night as a family. The caretaker brought us to visit a sloth on the property and we were invited to walk the……

“Ken was a great host and a valuable source of information re places to see and activities in the area. The coffee farm was a charming place to stay. ”

“This house was really a gem, well equipped and surrounded by nature. Just be SURE to rent a 4WD vehicle, as there are many steep and winding dirt roads to access the property with huge potholes and ruts. We knew about this area but if you have never been there be prepared for an off-road experience. Lots of birds and beauty make the effort worthwhile. Friendly and helpful caretakers. We had a lovely time:)”
