“The property was very clean and safe. We particularly enjoyed the covered patio/pool area. Howler monkeys woke us up the second day and put on quite a show in the trees across the small road from the house. Loved the ever present hummingbirds in the flowering plants. Lots of different flowering plants. The only things I would recommend for improvements : hot water for the kitchen sink and improved lighting in the kitchen. The property did provide a hot-water kettle which we appreciated for……

“The property had amazing views. The best part was waking up in the morning to the sound of birds and other wild life and having chef prepared breakfast :) Some reviews did mention the bugs: you're in nature; it's expected and you get used to it and they do have pest control. No AC, but they provided fans and it was comfortable. Place is MUCH larger than the pictures. Highly recommend hiring James to cook for you!! We had him prepare breakfast daily! He's amazing and it makes getting started……

Ample room for everyone with the library/entertainment area, the dining room, deck, covered swimming pool and hot tub and every room with its own bathroom. Patrick couldn't have been more helpful. It was like having your own Concierge. Very helpful coming up with activities and and recommendations. The staff were friendly and took care of everything. The breakfasts delicious and large. “This was our first trip to Costa Rica and so happy with the home! The views were amazing, the hot tub perfect for those cool mornings and after the long hikes and did I mention the views? The house was great for three couples! The BBQ for perfect for the wonderful food we found the town of Nuevo Arenal had everything we needed within five minutes of the house! “Property overall is amazing! The location is wonderful with wildlife right outside the door. But if lacks sufficient furniture to seat everyone and doesnt have dressers or any bedroom furniture to unpack for longer stays. There is a lovely town to the left away from La Fortuna with a meat market, bakery, and fruit and vegetable stand that are wonderful! ”
