“After traveling throughout California my wife and I found this property the most relaxing. Overlooking a lake on one side and vineyard on the other we found the location felt like we were at a 5 star resort. The landscaping was professionally finished and peaceful with running water throughout. The hot tub overlooking the lake was very tranquil. There was kayaks for use on lake but it was a little cool in April. An outside grill and fully stocked kitchen gave us option to cook our meals and……

“When you combine a truly lovely property with exceptionally responsive and kind hosts, you can't help but have a lovely stay. That was our experience at the DogWood cottage. The cottage sits in an idyllic setting, and the cottage did not lack for anything. The owners clearly had put a great deal of thought into everything a guest would need (even our four-legged guests). “We planned to stay 10 days, there wasn’t a table to sit at or chairs if you wanted to eat meals. We appreciate some kind of household instruction for watching t.v., using the air conditioning unit or operating the locks when exiting. This would be a good place to stay if you didn’t plan on any time in the unit. Also a good wind came up and the shredded patio umbrella collapsed. We left early.”

“I hosted all of my friends for my husbands birthday party. It was the perfect venue to get away from it all-- enough lodging for our friends, and great privacy. The owner checked us in and out, but other than that we were on our own-- exactly how we wanted it :) Houses are perfectly appointed with plenty of supplies for cooking and eating. We enjoyed a movie on the big screen and projecter. I run a small business and in the future I'm planning on bringing my employees for a work retreat. Rooms……
