“This was such a cozy, clean, welcoming little cabin in a quiet valley only a 10-minute drive (at most) into Viroqua. Lovely big table for crafts, puzzles, knitting, games, or just sitting and chatting! Tons of natural light!!Word of caution that most of the extra beds are upstairs, so people sleeping upstairs should be comfortable climbing the ladder.I would definitely stay here again! Chris is a very responsive host. And if you come with two EV's, there are two external outlets (both 110v) for slow charging. A bonus. Nearest charger is in the Food Coop parking lot in Viroqua - no charge. ”

“A few hours after checking into the VRBO on Friday, there was a mechanical issue in the house related to the extreme cold weather which could have ruined our entire weekend; however, the property owner promptly got someone on sight first thing Saturday morning, determined the issue couldn't be fixed immediately, found a property within 1 mile where we could stay for no additional fee, AND gave us a refund. Kelsey went above and beyond to make things right and I so very much appreciate it! She……

“Quiet and cozy cabin across the street from the Kickapoo River. Perfect size for two to take a quiet getaway for a time. Much to see in the Readstown and Viroqua area and Kickapoo Valley. Excellent hiking trails, restaurants/ bars and shopping within a short drive. LeAnne was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again in the future.”

“We absolutely loved staying at this rental. It was clean, cozy, easy to access and secluded. It was very comfortable- there were plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, and little touches to make you feel right at home. When a repair took place, the communication was transparent and we weren't inconvenienced in the slightest. The cabin is near wonderful hiking paths and a short drive from basic needs like groceries, gas, and firewood. I would highly recommend this rental if you'd like a quiet……
