“This Mountainside Cabin was everything promised, peaceful, very clean, spacious, plenty of supplies, nice walking trails, near by state land. The host was very responsive and helpful. we will definitely be booking for another visit. ”

“Our stay at Beechwood was a great location for our long weekend. The cabin was the perfect retreat after a day of hiking and exploring a few of the numerous trails, waterfalls and vistas close by. The cabin is clean, comfortable and nestled amongst beautiful hemlock trees. The icing on the cake are the lovely and accomidating owners. We highly recommend Beechwood.”

“My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend and had a very nice time. It’s a bit farther back in the woods than I expected, but it gave us a lot of privacy which was appreciated! It was nice and cozy and I loved being able to sit by the electric fireplace and play games. Daryl gave great directions to the cabin and was very communicative and helpful! ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Elk Creek Escape. The pictures were very accurate to the current cabin. The hosts were responsive before our stay and when we were on our way. They were friendly and helped us to check in and find a place to eat. The McCarty Mercantile they suggested for breakfast had the BEST biscuits! Thank you for having us!”

“Property is exactly as shown - a cozy cabin tucked in the woods. The cabin is tastefully decorated and all conventional items were available. Property was immaculate. Perfect quiet getaway for two adults.”

“Our weekend was very relaxing. We enjoyed the beautiful hikes near by and the hot tub was perfect after hiking. Would stay here again. Beds were very comfortable.”

“The owner was very responsive and even left flowers and a card for my wife and i 25th anniversary. The cabin was very nice inside and has the creek right across from it. A++++ property.”

“Amazing property and great spot to hang out for the weekend. We cooked our meals since restaurants were 20 minutes away but kitchen had everything we would need. Short drive to great state parks and would stay there again!”

It was perfect for 4 people, with large bedrooms and a good size kitchen. The surrounding area was tranquil and relaxing. “If you are a regular to the region, the house is located in a place that offers easy access to many of the areas amenities. It is also privet with great stream access and a nice view. House itself is very comfortable and had all we needed.”
