The best thing about this property was the staff. They were friendly, always there when I needed them, and helped me as much as they could given that this place's franchise owner has put only the bare minimum of investment and effort into the upkeep of the property.
The worst thing was the "hot breakfast"--waffles. That was it. Not even a toaster. I asked the staff if they had any butter or margarine. They said "we had some yesterday" in wistful tones.
While all the amenities promises, except gor in-room coffee, were present and could be made to work, and while the room itself was free of visible dirt, both room and furnishings were dingy and heavily worn. The bathroom looked as if they'd tried to refurbish or repair it several times and given up halfway through each time.
Bottom line: you get what you pay for. Either pony up for a better brand, or stay at a Motel 6 and get the same level of service (and newer, fresher rooms) for less money.
