“Communication from staff was excellent since there is no reception desk. Room is large and clean. Bed is comfortable. The building is next to Police Station. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, but there is a wider selection of eateries within a short driving distance.”

“Overall this is a good place to stay. Check in is odd, you have to call the desk person to check in but he is prompt to come to the desk. One thing that I did not like was I had booked "pay at the property" and they went ahead and charged my card over a month before my stay, not cool. Note that the TVs are streaming only. No local channels. There is some free programs on the FireTV. If you want anything different you'll have to use your sign-in on the apps. I watched shows on my tablet instead……

“I have been in Montrose for about a month using motels to recoup after camping for work. I have tried at least 3 other lodging options and Surestay has been the best option by a long shot. Stephanie, Patrick and Evelyn have been amazing and made me feel very welcome. The rooms are extremely well kept, the breakfast is available as promised and piping hot. “Great property atop a mountain with a wonderful restaurant and bar and great outdoor space. The bed and pillows in our king suite were extremely comfortable and provided for a very quiet and restful night’s sleep. Fortunate for us, our one night stay turned into two nights thanks to a snowstorm blowing in overnight. We couldn’t ask for a cozier place to be snowed in. ”

“Amazing location, wonderful bar on the roof that allowed you to soak up the view. Nice comfortable bedroom. Only negative is there is no face to face contact (maybe that is a generational thing which is more welcoming). The hair dryer in our room was broken and it was difficult to contact anyone for a replacement. ”
