“I had notified the owner that my husband cannot have dairy or eggs, when I made the reservation. The owner/manager seemed unaware, but since the breakfast was French Toast, my husband was able to eat it. The following day, I woke up feeling very unwell (happens after 7 years of cancer/60 treatments). The same person asked me if eggs over easy would be ok, and I said no, I was feeling very unwell and would appreciate something light. He became ANGRY and snapped that this is NOT how B&B works. I……

“Nice small town hotel. Staff was friendly! Had an issue with the heater in one room so we were switched with no problem. Nice to see Deer roaming around the property like they are guests as well. Keep the toilet paper at whole roll!”

“The property was okay, it is an older motel and dated, but was clean. I don't know if something was going on that weekend in Montrose, but we paid over $180 for one night in a room that should have been $100 per night. The manager there in the morning was wonderful, due to COVID they could not open the breakfast area until 7 am but I needed coffee at 6:30 and he was happy to oblige, I was thankful for that :) If the price was more in line with the property, I would rate it higher.”
