“Unique experience - staying at a feed store/laundry mat/hotel. Although rooms were upstairs (as viewed from the front) the parking in the rear was room level so didn't have to walk up any stairs. No ice machine. ”

“Overall this is a good place to stay. Check in is odd, you have to call the desk person to check in but he is prompt to come to the desk. One thing that I did not like was I had booked "pay at the property" and they went ahead and charged my card over a month before my stay, not cool. Note that the TVs are streaming only. No local channels. There is some free programs on the FireTV. If you want anything different you'll have to use your sign-in on the apps. I watched shows on my tablet instead……

“This is a delightful place and a good location for access to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. The staff was very friendly, helpful and responsive. The yurt was cute and comfy.”

“Communication from staff was excellent since there is no reception desk. Room is large and clean. Bed is comfortable. The building is next to Police Station. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, but there is a wider selection of eateries within a short driving distance.”

“Great property atop a mountain with a wonderful restaurant and bar and great outdoor space. The bed and pillows in our king suite were extremely comfortable and provided for a very quiet and restful night’s sleep. Fortunate for us, our one night stay turned into two nights thanks to a snowstorm blowing in overnight. We couldn’t ask for a cozier place to be snowed in. ”

“I had notified the owner that my husband cannot have dairy or eggs, when I made the reservation. The owner/manager seemed unaware, but since the breakfast was French Toast, my husband was able to eat it. The following day, I woke up feeling very unwell (happens after 7 years of cancer/60 treatments). The same person asked me if eggs over easy would be ok, and I said no, I was feeling very unwell and would appreciate something light. He became ANGRY and snapped that this is NOT how B&B works. I……
