“I had notified the owner that my husband cannot have dairy or eggs, when I made the reservation. The owner/manager seemed unaware, but since the breakfast was French Toast, my husband was able to eat it. The following day, I woke up feeling very unwell (happens after 7 years of cancer/60 treatments). “The setting is amazing, just as pictured. We enjoyed sunsets against the mountains and hiking Needle Rock which we could see from the house. I wish I had realized when booking that it was close to the North Rim of Black Gunnison, but the South Rim where the visitors center is was over an hour away (my fault, but just FYI). “Property was exactly as described and we enjoyed our stay. Had a beautiful sunset and enjoyed sitting on the porch having breakfast and coffee in the morning. Owner very responsive to questions when checking in. Great spot to use as a launching point to the north rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.
