“Clean and simple place for a family to stay. We stayed here during a road trip with our three very young children. The home is mostly child proof. There were a few breakable items that we had to keep an eye on to make sure our toddlers didn't get into (cups and bowls for example). It was a perfect pit stop for us and was easy to check in. Could not have been much better.”

Valerie is a fantastic host—so kind and always quick to respond whenever we had a question. She really made everything easy and stress-free. “Comfortable housing and amenities. We enjoyed our time here - 3 nights. Management was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy. The kids liked the pool and playground and the pond with its fountains and ducks. I liked having the washer/dryer in the home. There were a few things lacking such as dish towels, kitchen utensils/colander, a couple of hand towels, and a fire starter for the community fire pit.”

“We loved this property. The quiet neighborhood was a nice landing place at the end of our days. Perfect location to travel to Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP, Ouray, and Telluride. Montrose is a great city with nice coffee shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!”

“This attractive cabin on a working ranch was very comfortable and a good base for out day trips. We loved the very peaceful mornings, as we were both recuperating from schedules that were too tightly packed. A/C in every room, and cool evenings outside.Thank you Thank you!”

“We had a great stay. The owners were very nice. Unfortunately, they said they received no notification we were coming from VRBO and had to clean up after we arrived. Had the run of the place though and we're able to pick and eat many fresh peaches, apples, and pears. We loved our stay in this quaint, cute little Casita!”

“The home and property are in excellent shape. The interior is beautiful and spacious. The kitchen has every every appliance and enough settings for a large group. Bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely decorated. Beds are very comfortable. Outside area is well maintained. Great views of the countryside from multiple seating areas. The nicest VRBO I’ve stayed in. ”

Walking around the pond was a pleasure in the evenings. Contacting the owner was perfect in every way. The game room was a MAJOR hit with the kids and the adults. Close to Gunnison, Ouray (Box Canyon), and Last Dollar Road were key in our selection. This getaway is perfection plus!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”

“Chadwell & Carissa have a fantastic home with all the amenities you'll need during your stay. Their communication from booking to departure was top notch and they made booking with them a breeze. We felt like we were borrowing a friend's house rather than booking a rental! If you need more space, rent their Luna Lodge next door. Our friends were staying there (suprise to both of us!) and it's equally lovely. ”
