“Lovely B and B in a stately, historic house. Marsha is an excellent host. The food is excellent and most comes from their working farm or other WV farms. The surrounding property is beautiful. My room was spacious and comfortable.”

“We’ve never been at a place with so many people out in the parking lot, eating, riding bikes, smoking…… didn’t seem unsafe or dangerous, just a little unusual.”

“The place was great. Clean and friendly people all around. Didn’t like the master mattress but that might have been because we aren’t use to that type of mattress. Definitely coming back.”

“Glady Hideaway was clean, quiet and well stocked. It was just the right size for two people. The kitchen was well equiped and the owners had everythi g needed to build a nuce campfire. We enjoyed going to Blackwater Falls State Park, Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob during the day and relaxing at the cabin in the evening. Very quiet and serene!”

“I booked the yurt for 2 nights as a graduation present for my son and his girlfriend. Alex was very responsive and made this booking super easy! They had the absolute BEST time, and had nothing but wonderful thing to say about the yurt and their stay.”

“Loved the cabin! My only complaint was that the upstairs bed got hot during the night making my daughter uncomfortable. We put the fan up there the second night but it didn’t seem to help. She slept on the loveseat. Everything else we loved! ”

“Lovely location. Spotless place in great shape for a town home from the '70's. Nice gas stove, washer, dryer, plenty of living space and lots of amenities make this very family friendly. Great play ground, putt putt golf, trail rides, swimming pool. Three minutes from ski slopes, Canaan valley state park. ”

“We arrived at our destination early. I contacted our host about an early check in, she responded almost immediately and the answer was yes. Very cute home, close to town and provided us with all the essential's. Would definitely recommend!! ”
