“The property is very nice. It's apparent a lot of upgrades have been made and more to come. Heck, there's even tissues throughout the house which you don't find many places. The only pick I have is that steps leading down to the house were barely cleared of snow/ice and very difficult and dangerous to negotiate with suitcases. I shoveled them myself the next day.”

“My family booked the cabin for a short, 3-day rest and each day was so full. Packed with coffee in the hot tub, listening to the creek, short or long (depending on mood) walks up the stream while my husband and son fished for native trout. Enjoying meals on the grill, a roaring fire in the pit just outside and movie nights outside on the covered porch with our bodies telling when to sleep and wake. A true gem at the end of the road where life slows to let you savor! Blessed to have visited……

“The cabin was very nice & clean. Sherry & Okey makes you feel like family with the fresh eggs & salads they provided for us. If you do have a dog like we do they also make the dog feel very welcomed. I would most definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who wants peace & quiet & a beautiful view of the mountains.”

“My wife and I stayed for our anniversary weekend. The property is great. It is small, but it suited us well for our purposes. The view of the small lake and mountainside was wonderful. We woke up one morning to the snow-covered ground and the moon reflecting off the frozen lake—it was beautiful. The property manager was very responsive when we had an issue with there being too much chlorine in the hot tub—they had the issue fixed the same day I raised the issue with them. When we checked……

“We had a great stay—everything was exactly as listed. The house was clean, cozy, and in a perfect location within walking distance to all the downtown Thomas fun. The outdoor space with the deck, picnic table, and fire pit looked amazing—wish it had been a little warmer so we could’ve enjoyed it more. Would definitely stay again!”

“About a mile to Blackwater Falls and about the same to town. Very close to the gas station and a pizza place. The unit has everything you need, but if there’s anything you forgot, you aren’t far from the grocery store and a Dollar General! Great communication with the owner and her local person. Might be cozy for more than 2 people, but it was a nice place to stay.”

“Cold . Rain. Muddy. Cabin warm. Clean. No towels for showers. One kitchen towel. Well water had a bad odor. I guess that’s to be expected . Overall a good place to stay if I go back to the area. ”

“Location was perfect and place was clean with all you need. Spacious bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. Close to Blackwater Falls and Douglas Falls. Lots of cute shops and close to Davis for more art shops. Highly recommend this place!”
