“Very welcoming cottage, located nearby Stratford Hall, where I met with my grandniece that is doing her internship there, this summer.Close by is Colonial beach, where we watched the Fourth of July fireworks.The cottage was excellent. “I cannot say enough good things about this property from all the wonderful surprises (stocked coffee bar, complimentary toiletries, plenty of towels for a family of 5) to it being even more spacious than the pictures made it seem! Overall, this was the perfect getaway as we spent a couple days enjoying the backyard and water and then spent a couple days sight seeing making the about 2 hour drive into DC and the short 20 minute drive to Washington's birthplace right in Montross. “Easthaven is such a fun, family place to stay while on vacation. Clean, well equipped, relaxing and family oriented. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, crabbing, visiting West Moreland State Park and the quant surroundings. “I recently stayed at this property and had a wonderful experience. Trey was a terrific host. The location is fantastic, offering easy access to St. Mary’s College.
