“Well loved, maintained & stocked home on the bay. Everything was thought of by the owners. Large living space for all to congregate & each have his/her own seat. Well stocked kitchen included all the necessary cooking/baking/serving supplies + several pantry staples. All appliances in working order. Each family couple had their own large bedroom with plenty of room & their own private bath (+ bidets). Nice & clean upon arrival + a little treat from the owner, which was unexpected but so……

“This cozy cottage will make you feel right at home! Two adults and two kids fit just right in this home. We loved all of the finishing touches that made you feel like you were welcomed over to an old friends house. In addition, the yard with outdoor shower made beach clean up a breeze - in fact we only used the outdoor shower (inside is a bit tight). The kitchen is small, but we eat out a lot of meals on vacation anyway. Come to cape Charles for the beach - stay for the bread, ice cream, and……

“The property was in an AMAZING location. It was quiet, quaint, and SO close the beach. We walked over to watch the sunset on the beach each night. We realized that alot of the locals did this and it was cool to chat with them during that time. Speaking of locals, everyone was SO friendly (we're not used to that here in Virginia, unfortunately). “We set out looking for a large house close to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown that would house our group of 9 family style. This house fit our needs and was more than comfortable. It’s near all the major tourist stops (I highly recommend every stop in the Historic Triangle). Sadly the pool was not holding water well so it was unable to be used by our youngest kids - it’s not really large enough for the whole family and seemed to have been out of commission for a bit.
