“My family of four had a pleasant stay here. The property was exactly as my son had requested - a woodsy lodge near a lake. Our room was tight but it was clean and we had enough soap, towels, etc. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good. We had to wait a bit to be served, but we were told that as we were seated. If a restaurant is busy, then I assume that it's because the food and service are good, which is was. The lake setting is very pretty and we were blessed with a beautiful……

“an interesting stay, a very fancy house turned into an airbnb. we arrived late at night so we quietly slipped off our shoes in the foyer(as requested) and went to our v large rooms. used the lovely huge kitchen in the morning to cook n take our meals n left. saw not a single other soul though we knew other ppl were there. It was competitive priced and well appointed. good one plus that wonderful wooden bench at the entrance and the gleaming stone of the kitchen countertop. there is old money……

“Such an amazing place. The staff, food, and proximity to wildlife/wilderness are all outstanding. Anyone looking to head off into the last great frontier should have a stay at the Summit Lake Lodge for a night or two. Recommend renting the lakefront cabins, as waking up to a cup of coffee in bed with incredible views helps start any day with a smile. “We loved this house! Had everything we needed! We were a big group of family in Girdwood for a wedding! The house was plenty big enough for all of us we were all able to have each family group in their own bedrooms and have our own bathrooms! And it was definitely more affordable splitting it four ways! The location was great! It was exactly where we needed to be for the proximity of the wedding. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!”
