“We very much enjoyed our stay. It was a great landing spot within quick driving distance of so many hiking trails, beaches, and waterfalls that we couldn’t find time to see them all! Also a quick drive to town where you can find anything you might need. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms are bigger than they look in the pictures. The yard was a nice place to relax around the fire at night and watch the stars. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely return. ”

“This was the second time we stayed, the first being in 2019. Both times the kitchen was well stocked with anything you would ever need. The entire house was neat, clean, and organized. A wonderful place to stay with family or friends and visit the surrounding area and all it has to offer. With so much to see and do in the area it’s easy to be on the go, but plan to stay an extra day or two to just enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the estate. ”

“Beautiful remote location to get away. 30 minutes from the lake and 1-2 hours from Copper Falls and Bayfield parks. Cozy cabin with lots of wildlife around (Black bears, Deer, skunks etc.) AC and heat work great outdoors were beautiful, but make sure to bring mosquito spray as it is woods by water. Will come back again in the future! ”

“Cozy Pines cabin was the perfect landing spot for my college-age daughter and me for a long weekend getaway! We fully enjoyed our time on Madeline Island, and the cabin had everything we needed. Mornings included amazing lake views out the spacious windows, and experiencing the sunsets on the dock was spectacular! Great communication with the host. Would love to be back for another stay someday.”

“The house is beautiful! It was our home away from home. Bayfield has been on my family's bucket list & it did not disappoint. We stopped at Copper Falls State Park on our way up. We did the Apostle Island tour and Madeline Island for a day. We went swimming & fishing. We took a spontaneous drive up to Small Sand Bay one evening. And the best part was being able to come back "home" to a fire & s'mores & a cozy place to sleep. Kids slept in super late while Mom & Dad were able to enjoy a……

“My family and I rented the cabin for a weekend getaway and wedding weekend. The cabin was beautiful and very cozy. Easy to find, clean, and quiet. My only regret is we would have had more time to enjoy the facility but with a busy weekend we didn’t have as much time to do so. We definitely will stay again and look forward to it! ”

“This home was a perfect for our annual family ATV ride. Ride the trails right from the house. Quiet and secluded for sitting outside on the back patio enjoying nature after a long day of riding. Close enough to Iron River if we needed something or to grab a bite to eat. ”

My kids have already said they don't care of we ever go anywhere else in vacation, they definitely want to go back to The Loons Nest at The Spot!”

The binder of information was so helpful and guided us to many great hikes and activities. It had close proximity to Bayfield and other towns. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely go back!”
