“Had a relaxing time at the Lake Front Cottege. It was so nice to wake up to see the lake every day & go kayaking when you wanted. Quiet neighbors & safe. Enjoyed patio fire at night. Clean kitchen. It has a you need in the kitchen. Has pillows& bed linens. We brought our own towels. Had dish soap, etc. Nice stay. Host was respectful & helpful”

“Great house for the price. Obviously it’s a older home which was to be expected. We brought our own boat. The driveway, dock, and boathouse made it super accommodating. The bar area ”

“Planned for my Birthday and it was amazing! Very quiet and serial. Beautiful view of the lake. The cabin itself was very clean but the decks could have been a bit cleaner, full of spider nests on the windows and chairs. All in all still worthy of a definite 5 star. Was very enjoyable!”

“My wife and I enjoyed this quiet cottage for a weekend getaway. This was a great central location for the vineyards and Shiloh Amish Store (Must try to donuts!!!). The front porch was great in the morning for coffee and a cocktail at night. Bobbie the property manager was awesome! She was friendly and gave us lots of good recommendations locally.”

We visited serenity alpaca farm and the emerald hollow mine. Unfortunately yellow deli is closed on Saturdays because I has also wanted to try it. “I was looking for a great place to stay for a week just to get away when i came across mallard cottage. The cottage was clean and check in was fantastic. The location was great as it was located equal distance from Asheville and Charlotte. The views from the deck were outstanding and a wonderful place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee while watching the ducks swim around. Our fur baby enjoyed the fenced in yard. Communication was great with property manager and there were no surprises. We……
