The kids could launch the kayaks on their own. The cottage looked just like the pictures in the listing. We had everything we needed, and more. The hosts we so kind, and quick to respond. We will definitely be back!”

“Our family had a great time at the Heron's Cove Cottage, this was our second visit. The house is perfect for our family of 6, clean and has a beautiful view of the Sandbar. The Sandbar Marina and Grill is close by and the house is close to many restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommend. ”

“Great location for where we needed. Beautiful water location and Hickory has some great restaurants. House is well stocked/equipped and the hosts were VERY responsive for any needs/questions. Beautiful location on the water. Hot tub does not work but was not expecting. Animal friendly which was perfect for us. Will definitely stay again if needed. ”

“Had a relaxing time at the Lake Front Cottege. It was so nice to wake up to see the lake every day & go kayaking when you wanted. Quiet neighbors & safe. Enjoyed patio fire at night. Clean kitchen. It has a you need in the kitchen. Has pillows& bed linens. We brought our own towels. Had dish soap, etc. Nice stay. Host was respectful & helpful”
