"Communal areas in the hotel/pub were good & the pool was better than the photos looked but the rooms let it down. They’re tired, need a paint & new carpet. Shower needs a good clean as mouldy. "Such a helpful, friendly and conscientious receptionist(Peter) when i arrived. He also moved me from the small single room I'd booked to a larger room with a double bed and carried my bag to the lift for me. Much appreciated. My only slight negative is that the pillows were very flat and unforgiving. ..."
