“I'm going to start with the simple, but most important thing about this entire trip is a proximity to the tranquil ocean. We were traveling with a 5-month-old. The house was equipped for an infant which was even more touching, but the ocean being just steps away from the front door made it just absolutely amazing. The hosts were able to connect us with car rental and fishing connections, all of which were local, seamless, amazing, and trustworthy. We're already looking to book again and can't……

The cool thing about this island is the abundance of sea life!This house is situated with the mangroves on one side and the ocean on the other. “The photos of this property really don't do it justice. Amazing house, where the owner has really thought and anticipated all guests needs, with high quality furnishings, and amenities. The view is just glorious, and the beach was superb. Easy to get to from the airport, and easy to get to local attractions like cherokee sound, petes pub and the neem farm. Myself and teenage son-had the king bed split into 2 singles, little kitchenette with all we needed, spacious bathroom with walk in shower...and sliding doors leading to the rear yard with access to canal and kayaks(or rental boat if you choose). Outdoor shower for washing off fishing gear/cleaning up before entering the apartment. Canal was quiet and full of sea turtles. “This is a great property! The house is in perfect condition and fully stocked. Kitchen had everything we needed (including sharp knives which is rare in a rental). They have beach chairs and games available for use. The location, while a little further out, is exactly what we wanted. I wanted a place away from the crowd and we got it. It is like having your own private beach. The home owners are great to work with throughout the process. They communicated prior to the trip and helped us arrange……
