“We were surprised when we got there that this was not a house to itself. It was in fact a building across the driveway from the owners house. The inside of the house is nice and our family enjoyed playing pickle ball. We never got the TV to work, the sheets had fuzz balls built up on them from wear, they had puppies In pens against our building that barked and whinned while we were there as well as 2 dogs that ran loose and one of Our grandchildren is afraid of dogs so that wasn’t helpful. He informed me that Wanderlust (our original reservation) had roof damage but their adjacent unit (listed as “Quiet Apartment” in Brownsville) was available. “I originally needed a trip Oct. 2023. Due to unfortunate circumstances, We had to move our dates. I called Wayne and he immediately pushed our dates out. “We enjoyed our stay in this home...albeit the layout was very odd. There were a couple set of stairs, and it's an older home. Our host responded to any communications quickly. It was in an odd part of town (more businesses then residential), but we felt safe. All exterior doors had locks. We had everything we needed while we were there. Thank you!”
