“First checked in to smoking floor on 8th but the staff did not ask me if I minded. It was unbearable and they changed to another floor. Check in staff was not so welcoming. Tried breakfast for 1950 Yen. Food was okay but was a bit tired when I had it 30 mins before it closed. Service was so-so. Very good location within walking distance everywhere. Small onsen was good enough. Overall good for low season price of around 8500 Yen per night. Comfortable stay. ”

“We are impressed by the traditional Japanese style service. Very clean and spacious. bed big and comfortable. Breakfast was good enough, not fancy with Yen 2200. Only downside that on the last day we tried to take bus 50 as suggested by staff to kyoto station, the bus was full and written no luggage allowed. We panicked as the flight schedule becomes tight. Guess the staff did not know. It was quite some work to walk to underground with our luggage. ”
