“Shabby - shabby - chic Historic Pennwells. Pros: Lots of character. Very friendly staff - but everyone is friendly in Wellsboro. Good restaurant and tavern on site. They share the same menus. The interiors of each are unique and terrific. The hotel is in the center of town and walkable to everything. Cons: old and shabby - but it's a bit cool at the same time.”

“This was a very nice hotel behind a very nice restaurant with the Susquehanna River across the road. It wasn't until the day before we left that we found out there's a whole town, a whole big town behind the place. Haha oh well next time. Pine gorge was awesome. I found a veeeery nice fossil of seashells on top of the mountain there. ”
