“The area is gorgeous and Garth was a great host. Great communication and a nicely thought out setup. 4/5 only because the term "bathroom" was used very loosely and it was more of a camping experience than I expected when I booked it. I don't regret it, though. ”

The host was very kind, attended to the issue to repair the washing machine.Suggestions--Remind the upstairs renters that other guests are in the apt below--it is very noisy and it seemed like both sets of upstairs guests used the washer/dryer all of the time at all hours. The washer/dryer is right next to the bedroom/bathroom of the downstairs apt and all conversations, etc can be heard. “We absolutely loved our stay in Cooperstown at this fantastic location. It was perfect for my husband and myself and we were able to walk everywhere we went in the town of Cooperstown. We had so many fun things to do in the area and it was such a nice place to come back to each day. The host was amazing, easy to communicate with and very eager to make sure our stay was satifsfactory. We would recommend this location without a doubt and actually hope to return here someday! “We stayed here for my 12 year old son's Cooperstown Dreams baseball tournament. It was a great house! The bedroom downstairs was perfect for my 70 year old parents, and another large bed upstairs was perfect for us, and one more bedroom for the kids. The office was great, so I could work while I was there. Love that the owners renovated the house while maintaining authenticity, including the quirks, of the nearly 200 year old house. So perfect!”

“The house was beautiful and even bigger than we expected. The grounds around the house (sheltered patio, fire pit, pool, etc.) were a delightful addition to our group’s stay as well. The host was very nice and made the check in and check out process very easy. The only issue we faced was that the house got very warm as the house is not air conditioned, though there were a few floor AC units and fans available. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future.”

“Comfortable, great owner, a touch on the small side. Lots of plant growth over the sidewalk to the front door (& my husband is allergic to bees). Much rain created standing puddles on stairs to our entrance, so that was a bit tricky. Bedroom window had no working blinds on the bottom half, so we covered the window with newspaper so the bright light would not wake us.”

“Used for our 12U baseball tournament at Cooperstown Breams Park. 8 minute drive in reverse traffic. Wouldn’t classify as a luxury stay but perfect for a place to sleep while going to baseball games. Comfortable and large backyard perfect for whiffle ball games. 1 king bed with pull out sofa and air mattress. A/C was sufficient. Best part is how unique the property is with all the baseball paraphernalia on the walls. TVs are dated and not smart TVs but does have the normal local channels. Overall……

“This was the perfect place for our family during our visit to Cooperstown Dreams Park! It was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Dave was very responsive and addressed matters very quickly. The location was 5 minutes to Dreams Park, which was very convenient with being able to run back to rest a little between games. Our team won the whole thing, so it must have been a lucky house!”

“Very clean home. Nice shower. Great response from owner. Convenient location to many venues. Limited number of kitchen tools and serving pieces if trying to serve a meal and no washcloths. One bathroom for more than 4 people requires planning. ”
