“Directions were spot on—even in the dark! Place was very CLEAN and COZY! Bed was especially soft like a cloud! Christian was SUPERB about communicating and responding to messages! Outside grassy area is okay for dogs but we had soaked paws AND tennis shoes in the morning as we walked on the uneven terrain. My only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. ”

“My family and I booked the home to get a night’s rest on our road trip, the property was accurately listed, the host was very accommodating and answered any questions or concerns. Getting to the home and accessing the property was extremely easy, everyone slept like babies including our little pup. “Always so relaxing and quiet. We enjoyed feeding the fish, swimming, crafting, and movie nights. Coffee on the porch swing started each day off perfectly. ”

“Very convenient to both Tracy and Monteagle, the area was quiet, with many choses of units depending on your needs. the only thing I would change about the Teddy Bear unit is the window covering over the entry door, since it brings you into the bedroom. I would have preferred a dark cover to allow for less morning light. And thank you for a real coffee pot all be it small better than PODS.”

“This riverfront cottage was perfect for our four-day middle TN getaway! It was a short drive from our home in Knoxville, and was exactly what our family of four needed. The description on Vrbo matched the cottage precisely! Everything we could need was there, and we enjoyed playing one of the murder-mystery games that we found. The private dock was perfect for taking a float on the river. We were glad to see that after a review in June 2025 said there was no ladder on the dock, that the owner……

“My family had a wonderful time at this tiny house (which is a bit of a misnomer as we had tons of space for four adults and two children)! The surrounding community is really lovely, and we took advantage of multiple gorgeous hiking trails with waterfall views a very short distance away. All in all, we had a really great time!”

“We enjoyed our stayed in the Bear Hollow cottage. The space was clean and comfortable. It was close to all the amenities in Monteagle and Sewanee.”
