“I drove up to the Burlington area (from Frederick MD) for a 3-day reunion of a group of us who had served as Peace Corps Volunteers or staff 30 years ago in Morocco from 1991-1993. Staying in your lake front cabin was wonderful. Very relaxing mornings. Also thank you for being pet friendly - that was a criteria for me. “This is a wonderful place with a gracious host. The large stone fireplace was appreciated on a couple of cold evenings. The sun porch with storm windows was one of our favorite places to read, chat, play games, and view the ever changing lake, sky, and trees. The kitchen is well equipped and also has beautiful views of the lake. All windows open to allow fresh air on warmer days. “Five stars plus. This is a clean, comfortable, and modern house located on Mallet Bay. It is an easy 15-minute drive to downtown Burlington. There is direct access to a small beach, and the owner supplied all the beach accessories. The waters of the bay ripple to the beach and are not very deep along the shore line. This was perfect for our young grandchildren. The room sizes are large, and the beds are comfortable. The 5 year old enjoyed sleeping on the bunk bed above his parents’ bed.……
