“This place is spectacular! Being in the senior crowd, I admit we are technologically challenged but our host was so gracious in his response to our distress text and we figured it out! “We were there to celebrate my oldest child's graduation. It was a nice trip and not far from the Mary Hill Stonehenge and museum. I loved the view from our room! It was so nice to be able to sit on the deck and watch the river and look at the dam! So many types of birds to watch as well! The staff were amazing and friendly! Unfortunately, there is no elevator and my husband has a bad knee, but he managed to hobble his way up the stairs. That was our fault for not requesting a bottom floor……

It’s a very unassuming property from the road but once you get to walk the grounds, you are treated to amazing views and gorgeous landscaping. “Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back.”
